Premier Restaurants Romania, the operator of the McDonald’s restaurant chain in Romania, is expanding its network by opening unit number 98, in Pitesti. Located in the northern area of the city, on Nicolae Balcescu Boulevard no. 158 B, the new Drive-Thru restaurant is the second McDonald’s in Pitesti.

With a modern design and an area of approximately 400 square meters, the new restaurant will welcome its customers in a friendly and spacious setting, with a capacity of 98 seats inside and 60 seats on the terrace. Thus, customers have many options to enjoy their favorite products: in the restaurant or on the terrace, takeaway, through the McDelivery service, or at the Drive-Thru line. For those passionate about coffee and desserts, the space also has a McCafé.

The investment amounted to over 11 million lei and reaffirms McDonald’s commitment to sustainable practices. Along with selective collection bins and the availability of electrical charging for vehicles, the new restaurant marks a first in the McDonald’s portfolio by integrating photovoltaic panels, designed to generate energy for its own consumption.

“We are happy to inaugurate the 98th McDonald’s restaurant in Pitesti. The investment underscores our commitment to being closer to customers and providing career opportunities to the communities in which we operate. We intend to continue the expansion with modern restaurants, through which we can offer our customers quality service and pleasant experiences every time they visit us.” added Paul Drăgan, General Manager of Premier Restaurants Romania.

McDonald’s Pitesti is equipped with the most modern technologies for preparing and serving products. Available innovations include digital product display screens, found both in the restaurant and at the drive-thru line, and ordering kiosks. They allow product customization and contactless payment. Users of the McDonald’s app can enjoy rewards and offers by scanning the QR code with each order, collecting loyalty points. In addition, customers can order through the Mobile Order & Pay function of the McDonald’s app and pick up the order from the Drive line, from the restaurant or order for table service before arriving at the restaurant.

The new restaurant also benefits from a dedicated delivery area, designed to streamline the flow of orders. The restaurant is open daily, between 07:00 – 24:00 (Monday-Thursday and Sunday), between 07:00 – 02:00 (Friday and Saturday) and non-stop on the drive line.
