Key move. Natalia Gelshtein-Kiss is the new general director of Danone Romania

Starting April 2017, Natalia Gelshtein-Kiss has been appointed as the new general director of Danone for Romania, Bulgaria and Adriatic countries.

Kiss replaces Adrian Pascu, recently promoted as commercial vice-president Danone Russia, in the dairy division. Pascu will report to Paolo Maria Tafuri, general director of Danone for Central and Eastern Europe region.

I have unforgettable experiences in the regions, in countries next to Romania and I am glad to come here, on a known market for the consumers’ exigences. Danone Romania is on the good way in the consolidation direction of a sustainable business on the long term, contributing at the same time to the yoghurt category development, of the partner Romanian farms and the company in general. I am confident in a strong professionals team to continue this positive dynamics, ” said Kiss.

Kiss has bee working for Danone since 2003. In the last year, she was director at City Unit Moscow and regional sales director for Moscow and previously was sales director in Ukraine and Czech Republic for seven years.

Danone Romania registered a turnover of RON 484 million in 2015.
