Danone Romania announces the appointment of Adrian Valentin Pascu as General Manager of Danone Central and Eastern Europe, starting on June 1, 2024. In addition to the new role, Adrian Valentin Pascu also retains the position of General Manager of Danone Ukraine.
Adrian Valentin Pascu started his career at Danone Romania in 2004, as Regional Sales Manager. Throughout his career he made a significant contribution to the growth and development of the Danone business in Romania, holding various management positions, including Country Manager for Romania, Bulgaria, Moldova and the Adriatic Countries. In 2020, he was appointed General Manager of Danone Ukraine, and since January 2024, he holds the position of General Manager of Danone Ukraine and Vice President of Sales for Central and Eastern Europe.

My objective is to continue to invest in Romania and develop Danone’s product portfolio, while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety. In his new role, Adrian Valentin Pascu will coordinate Romania, Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Ukraine, Moldova, Albania and the Adriatic countries and three business categories: fresh dairy products, plant-based products and baby and medical nutrition.
This year, Danone Romania celebrates 25 years of local production. The company’s path has been marked by constant investment, continuous innovation and concern for product quality, always supporting the communities in which it operates. The Bucharest factory, which has become the most efficient Danone factory in Europe, uses 100% Romanian milk from local farmers and supplies dairy products to Romania and 14 other European countries.
At the end of last year, Danone Romania obtained the B Corp certification within the Central and Eastern Europe regional group, of which Romania is a member, together with Bulgaria, Hungary, the Czech Republic and Slovakia. Danone Romania thus joins the social movement for sustainability that brings together more than 6,000 companies in over 80 countries and 150 industries that meet rigorous standards of social and environmental performance, transparency and accountability.
