The iPhone 7 and 7 Plus will arrive in Romania on September 23 and prices will start at EUR 649. Apple unveiled its next generation smartphones at its annual event in San Francisco on Wednesday evening.
The iPhone 7 will have its official launch on September 13 in 30 countries. Although Romania is not a part of the group of countries where the phone will be launched first, the iPhone will arrive only one week later.
The new iPhones have a similar aluminium look as the previous generation phones, but the iPhone 7 comes in a new gloss black colour. The phones are waterproof and feature a new pressure-sensitive home button, a new dual-camera and no headphone socket. Instead, the phones feature wireless headphones. The new generation devices will come with Apple’s latest iOS 10 software for iPhone and iPad, which offers improved notifications and messaging features.
The cameras of the new iPhones feature a faster and larger 12-megapixel sensor, a faster lens and an enhanced true-tone flash as well as optical image stabilisation. The 7 Plus features dual-cameras, one 12-megapixel telephoto lens and one 12-megapixel wide-angle lens.
