Business process management firm Genpact Limited will continue its expansion in Romania, renting a new location in Cluj-Napoca, company representatives have announced. The move is part of the firm’s strategy to increase its presence on the Eastern Europe market. The office will be operational from July. “We intend to create several hundred jobs in Romania this year, making us one of the most active employers nationwide,” said Patrick Cogny, CEO of Genpact Europe.

According to Ramneesh Mohan, manager of the Genpact center in Cluj-Napoca, the company’s expansion offers the required platform for growth, both in terms of dimensions and complexity, for current and potential customers in Europe, for whom the main objective is to improve the efficiency of their business processes.
