Swiss jewelry manufacturer Frieden Switzerland is now offering a jewelry customization service in the Bucharest Helvetansa stores. Customers will have the option to design their own accessory and at the same time, set a challenge for their designers and goldsmiths to create their own personal piece of jewelry.

At the same time, a collection of rough diamonds and conch pearls can now be found now in the Helvetansa store from Calea Victoriei in the collection designed by Fireden Switzerland. The collection consists of uncut diamonds which the majority of jewelers don’t design for selling although their beauty is appreciated by diamond’s connoisseurs.

Another collection available for order in the Helvetansa stores is the DIAMAS one. It includes natural diamond crystals combined with the brilliance of facetted diamonds.

The Gem of the Bahamas is another piece of jewelry on display in the store. It is a lustrous pink conch pearl, carefully set in hand crafted design.  Since 1977 jewelers have been collecting the extremely rare Gem of the Bahamas – the Conch Pearl from many islands throughout the Bahamas. It is believed that one in ten thousand conchs produces a pearl, and of those pearls only 10 percent are considered gem quality. They are valued according to their color, luster and shape and often have water marks that are seen with the naked eye. The watermarks form by the water entering the conch and give each pearl its own “thumbprint”.
