The Romanian Financial Guard has confiscated goods worth over EUR 5 million after two raids this weekend at warehouses belonging to a commercial center in Afumati, near Bucharest, informs Mediafax newswire.
The Financial Guard inspectors have closed about 1,000 warehouses where they found sanitation objects and perfume that lacked source documents.
On the raid that took place on Sunday morning, the authorities confiscated goods worth EUR 1 million after they found that none of the firms they verified had the required documents. All the confiscated goods will be sold in the ANAF stores.
