Retailer EuroGsm, which this year celebrates 15 years of activity in Romania, forecasts posting a turnover of EUR 21.8 million this year, which represents a 10 percent growth on last year, due to increasing sales of smartphones and accessories.

“We appreciate a growth of over 10 percent in the number of sold phones, as well as higher sales of accessories, on which we will focus our promotion efforts in the immediate future,” said Zoltan Halmai (in picture), commercial manager of EuroGsm, quoted by Mediafax newswire.

Accessories, mobile phones and tablets are the three best sold categories of products in the retailer’s network.

This year, EuroGsm estimates it will reach a market share of 34 percent on sales of voice services of Orange retailers on the business-to-consumer.

For the first quarter of the year, the company estimates it attained a market share of approximately 7 percent from the total number of mobile phones sold nationally.
