Terra Park, an entertainment park with an initial investment of EUR 25 million, will open this fall in Bucharest on Timisoara boulevard. The park, which takes up a 30,000 sqm surface, is owned by Rami Dacia, a Romanian company manufacturing synthetic diamonds. The park targets mainly families with children, and will be operated continuously throughout the year, with both in-door and out-door entertainment points.

Within the park’s area, 30 pieces of entertainment equipment will be installed. Among them: the Z Force Tower, a platform rising to a height of up to 53 meters, a rollercoaster with a 310 meters ride, and the hydro lift slide.

Terra Park will have its own parking lot of 500 places and will offer all the facilities and services usually found in an entertainment park. Representatives of the facility expect approximately 600,000 visitors in the first operating year, and a family visiting the park at least three times within this time frame.

“We are planning a second stage in the development of the park, to offer our visitors new facilities […]: the largest rollercoaster in the country, a hotel for those visiting from outside Bucharest, a concert hall and innovative spaces for spending free time,” said Eric Eberhart, the general manager of the park. In between 1982 and 2000 Eberhart was involved in the development of Disney entertainment parks in Florida, Paris and Tokyo, serving on top management positions within the projects.
