eMAG opens in Sibiu biggest showroom outside Bucharest

eMAG opened in Sibiu its biggest showroom located outside of the capital, which will display over 600 products on a total surface of around 600 square meters. Starting September, the showroom will be transformed into the first eMAG showroom drive-in.

The opening of the showroom is part of the retailer’s national expansion strategy. The new showroom is the first to open this year outside of Bucharest, after last month’s launch of the Titan Gallery.

eMAG clients will be able to test there, before placing an order, products included in categories such as IT products and solutions, gaming, personal care products and smart tech.

The opening of the Sibiu showroom, the first opened this year outside of Bucharest, is part of the eMAG strategy to expand in the west area, in order to rech even more clients, providing the best of online and offline purchasing experience.”

Moreover, in Sibiu we bring another first for eMAG. The showroom we are opening now will be transformed, starting September, in the first eMAG showroom drive-in. We will offer clients an extra argument to combine online and offline shopping, and those who did not order before will have an extra reason to make a step towards online commerce, and those who did not order up until now will have another reason to make a step towards online shopping, because we will increase their comfort. Clients who will place an online order will be able to pick up their products without stepping out of the car,” Sorin Dinu, eMAG Retail Director.

eMAG forecasts that over 80,000 orders will be delivered annualy at their new showroom.

EMAg opened its first showroom în 2008, in Bucharest, aș part of Grant Shopping Center în Crangasi. Currently, eMAG operates two showrooms in Bucharest and one în Brasov, Cluj-Napoca, Galati, Iasi, Oradea, Ploiesti, Sibiu and Timisoara. EMAG also has two delivery points in Baneasa and Pitesti and another 202 delivery points opened în partnership with Posta Romana, the Romanian post office.
