Divertiland opens own sports items store with EUR 150,000 investment

A new bicycles and sports items concept store opened with a EUR 150,000 investment at the Divertiland outdoor water entertainment park in the Militari area of Bucharest. The store is located inside the park, takes up 150 sqm and sells over 1,000 sports items.

By the end of the summer season, Divertiland hopes to attract over 120,000 visitors. Divertiland, which opened in 2012, says it plans to become a landmark entertainment destination in South East Europe.

In its first operational year, Divertiland attracted over 100,000 visitors.

“This year we will concentrate our efforts on developing a complete customer experience and position Divertiland as a city break destination within the city. Some of our efforts will go into the development of additional activities, such as events and parties,” Alejandro Poulakis, the park’s CEO, previously told BR. He added that 20 percent of the total number of visitors last year were foreign.
