Cristian Ungureanu appointed financial director at Unilever South Central Europe

Unilever announced the appointment of Cristian Ungureanu as financial director at Unilever South Central Europe, replacing Jordi Aixandri, starting October 1.

Cristian Ungureanu joined Unilever in March 2018, being in charge of coordinating financial integration activities in the field of mergers and acquisitions in the region. He has significant experience, having previous positions as financial director at Mol Romania and Bunge Romania, as well as in international EBRD projects.

Unilever is active in over 190 countries, reaching 2.5 billion consumers each day. The company has 161,000 employees and generated sales of EUR 53.7 billion in 2017. 85 percent of the company’s business is on emerging or developing markets.

The company has more than 400 brands that can be found in homes around the world, including Dove, Rexona, Ax, Domestos, Cif, Hellmann’s, Delikat, Dero, Lipton, Algida, Ben & Jerry’s and Magnum.
