Carrefour opens 39th supermarket

Carrefour Romania will open on Wednesday the 8^th supermarket in Bucharest, bringing its national network to 39 units. The new supermarket is located on the Sincai Blvd and has a total sales surface of 370 sqm.

This week, Carrefour will also announce the launch of a new store format, Carrefour Express, through a franchising system.

In addition to the supermarkets chain, the French retailer also operates 23 hypermarkets in Romania.
