The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) main market registered transactions amounting to RON 2.85 billion (EUR 634.5 million) in April 2016, according to data from BVB. On the market there are 85 issuing companies and 38 intermediaries.
Bond trading reached RON 181.8 million, with the daily average value standing at RON 2.13 million. There were 101,754 transactions with allowances amounting to RON 168.4 million.
Romgaz, Fondul Proprietatea and Banca Transilvania were the most traded stock on the main segment, statistics show.
Romgaz shares saw 8,584 transactions, worth over RON 141.3 million, with Fondul Proprietatea – 1,802 transactions worth over RON 138.2 million and Banca Transilvania – 7,147 transactions of about RON 137.1 million.
Fourth and fifth place were taken by by OMV Petrom and BRD, with RON 66.6 million and RON 58.5 million in transactions.
On the alternative trading system there were 16,804 transactions with shares worth over RON 78 million. On this market there are 303 issuing companies and 32 intermediaries.
The most traded in April were Deutsche Bank shares (RON 2.36 million), Napochim Imobiliare Cluj-Napoca (RON 1.53 million) and Napochim Cluj (RON 604,344).
In total, on BVB markets there were 343,589 transactions since the beginning of the year, with a total value exceeding RON 3.29 billion. The average daily value traded was about RON 38.7 million.
