Baumix reports RON 329,000 profit in 2010

Local construction materials producer Baumix went in the black last year, reporting a net profit of RON 329,000 and a turnover of RON 30.2 million.

The company’s results were affected by the 30 percent decrease of the market, resulting in a 15 percent drop in turnover, bellow the RON 36 million level of 2009.

The company’s main focus for this year is optimizing costs, increasing profitability, and R&D investments.

“This year we are betting on the ceramic tiles ranges and thermo systems, each having a 15 percent market share,” said Razvan Bebe, research and development director with Baumix.
