Auchan enters Liberty Center with a 3,600 sqm supermarket

After opening the InExtenso by Auchan store this spring, Auchan Retail Romania prepares to enter the Liberty Center shopping center in 2018 with a supermarket store. At present, the shop located at the ground floor of the shopping center is in the planning process and will have an area of ​​over 3,600 square meters.

By opening the Auchan supermarket, the Liberty Center diversifies the daily shopping offer Liberty Center has sought to diversify its mix of retailers to include a vast offer for daily shopping, relaxation, or visitor services. Together with the construction works of the new Auchan supermarket, the Liberty Center will begin this month and a redevelopment of the shopping center.

The opening of the Auchan supermarket in Liberty Center completes the group’s tenants mix with InExtenso.

In April this year, on the ground floor of the shopping center, InExtenso was opened, the first such store not operating in the same location as Auchan hypermarket and ninth in the network. In Extenso by Auchan it stretches over an area of ​​555 sqm and offers a wide range of clothing products.

Liberty Center is the first modern shopping center in southwestern Bucharest. The mall covers a commercial space of approximately 27,300 square meters and benefits from over 600 parking spaces. Tenants include: Altex, Sephora, Deichmann, CCC, Colin’s, Happy Gym, Happy Cinema, McDonald’s, KFC, Springtime and others. Liberty Center’s management is managed by JLL Romania since November 2016.
