Alexandra Olteanu is appointed Managing Director at Initiative

Alexandra Olteanu was appointed Managing Director at Initiative starting with September 15, after the end of the term of Steve Dallas.

She will be in charge with all the Initiative operations including strategy, buying, media consultancy, research and digital.

“We wanted to bring at the helm of Initiative a professional from within the team, and we knew that Alexandra is the best choice. She has been with us for 16 years, is an outstanding professional and has built one if the best media buying teams in the industry,” says Veronica Savanciuc, president and CEO of Lowe.

Olteanu joined Initiative in 1995 and, since 2002, she has been coordinating the media buying department as manager.

“The market is heading gradually towards the moment when the barriers between paid, shared and earned media are disappearing. Those agencies that can synchronize efficiently the digital know-how with the need for solid expertise will stand out,” says Olteanu.
