Flip.ro teams up with tbi bank to offer Romanians the option to test for free smartphones for 30 days before buying

Flip.ro, the young Romanian start-up that encourages circular economy by refurbishing smartphones that they reintroduce on the market as good as new, announces a partnership with tbi bank, for financing and payment options on the platform, that will help Romanians choose their phones.

Starting in May 2023, those who want to buy a phone refurbished by Flip.ro, also have at their disposal payment options offered by tbi bank. The two companies offer their clients, exclusively, the 100% online micro-lending service Try Now Pay Later, that offers a 30-day trial period before paying. Through this service, they are helping customers make an informed decision, after testing the smartphones refurbished by Flip.ro

This is why the option to Try Now Pay Later that we are offering in partnership with Flip.ro is a great benefit for clients. Consumers can discover what suits them more quickly, and after 30 days they can make the first payment. The eligibility conditions for the financing options offered by tbi bank on Flip.ro are: Romanian citizenship, aged 18 to 75, minimum income of 1250 Lei for employees or 1000 Lei for pensioners, and a minimum of 3 months working for their current employer, in the case of employees.

Smartphones refurbished by Flip are checked in 30 quality control points, both hardware and software, by their team of 83 professionals, in their own service. Flip.ro offers at least 12-month warranty, 30 day return window, fast delivery, and prices up to 40% cheaper compared to new phones. Every smartphone refurbished by Flip has a carbon footprint that is 63% lower, on average, than that of a new smartphone, and contributes to protecting the environment.
