Over the past year, there has been a growing customer demand for alternative payment solutions in both online and offline retail stores. This surge is driven by the desire to access quality products without straining the monthly budget, including in the home decorations and furniture sector. tbi bank, one of the leading challenger banks in Southeast Europe offering flexible payment solutions, has partnered with one of the most dynamic home decorations retailers in Romania, StartDecor. Customers can buy quality home products through the Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL) solution in 4 interest-free installments or 6-12 installments with interest.

“As costs continue to rise, including for home decorations, people increasingly need smart alternative financing solutions to maintain a high standard of living. To remain close to our customers in a complex social and economic context, we have partnered with StartDecor, a dynamic player in the furniture retail sector. This new agreement allows Romanians to more easily pay for home decor and other products without straining their family budgets”, said Ionut Sabadac, VP Merchant Solutions, tbi.

At checkout on the retailer’s website, shoppers can select the “Payment in Installments through tbi bank” option. Then, after completing the credit application, it will be quickly approved by tbi bank. BNPL financing solutions are readily available, enabling consumers to distribute the total cost of purchases into equal installments. This option allows customers to make more purchases or buy higher-value products and, at the same time, retailers benefit from a new tool that can more effectively address consumer needs.

“Ensuring our customers have access to quality home products has always been a priority, particularly during challenging economic times. Our partnership with a strong ally like tbi bank enables us to provide consumers with a smart solution for a quick and easy purchase of any home decoration product”, said Adrian Moga, CEO, StartDecor.
