pastel has created a new local brand with an adventurous spirit, Camper Mapper, the caravan, and motorhome division of the Romanian company Trust Motors. The integrated communication agency is responsible both for setting and implementing the strategy and positioning, for the visual style and symbolic elements of the brand – naming, logo, slogan, and brand guidelines, and for the presence of the brand in the online environment, by managing the social media channels and achieving the site.

“We really liked this project because we were involved in it from the beginning when the business was only in the idea stage. This approach allowed us to actively contribute to the brand’s DNA and apply the ideal strategic and creative thinking mix. We studied the local and international market, understood the potential consumers, and worked with the client to create a strong brand that reflects the company’s values and delivers on its promise,” said Dana Nae Popa, Owner, and Managing Director of pastel.

The construction of the new brand came with a challenge for pastel, that of expressing as simply and attractively as possible the unique and complex offer of products and services that Trust Motors makes available to customers. The creative team of the agency had in mind the car rental and sales division, the service, accessories, spare parts, and customer support segments, but also looking into the near future and integrating into the construction of the brand a strong communication component of a network of own campsites that the brand is going to develop.

Thus, Camper Mapper became an invitation to create your own map and start exploring the unknown as you have never done before. In addition to this name, the brand descriptor “Whenever” was chosen, a symbol of absolute freedom.

Moreover, pastel has translated all the Camper Mapper attributes into a defining phrase for the brand’s universe – The escapade catalyst, transforming the brand into one that challenges and motivates you, at the same time, to embark on a new adventure devoid of worry.

“Camper Mapper is about the freedom of movement that every adventurer is looking for. It’s about leaving behind everything you know about a conventional holiday and embracing a different way of traveling, ensuring a complete, flawless experience. The brand includes elements and symbols that reflect this and, at the same time, we hope will inspire people to try an adventure with Camper Mapper,” says Laura Iane, pastel creative director.

The choice of brand colors is not random, either. The tonality of the logo is rendered by blue, a color symbolic of freedom and openness to infinite possibilities, and pink, which inspires energy, passion, and enthusiasm. Thus, all brand elements – the name, the compass, and the logo’s colors – communicate the brand’s mission: to provide a safe platform to explore new destinations and experiences.

pastel and Trust Motors launched the Camper Mapper at the Bucharest Snib Nautical Show

Camper Mapper has already enjoyed the attention of fans of unique vacations. The launch of the new Trust Motors division was organized at the Bucharest Snib Nautical Show, where the participants got to know the new brand and interact with the products and services it offers.

“By creating the new Camper Mapper business division, we aimed to redefine the concept of motorhome vacations and create a precedent of best practices in this up-and-coming industry. The complete offer we provide to lovers of novelty and adventure positions us as visionaries, as we offer customers the luxury of easily exploring places and experiences hard to reach on a conventional holiday, with Camper Mapper answering their frequent fears, from equipment breakdowns to campsites. The reactions and feedback received at the Bucharest Snib Nautical Show confirmed to us that pastel completely captured the nature of the brand, and we are grateful to them for this collaboration while also being impatient to see the values that this brand will wear”, declared Nadia Pietreanu, Camper Mapper Marketing, and Communication Director.
