The Iconic Estate Winery, the only Romanian producer invited at the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles

The Iconic Estate winery, part of Alexandrion Group, will participate in the Wine Paris & Vinexpo Paris 2022 exhibition, as part of the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles stand. The Iconic Estate is the only Romanian producer invited by the organizers of the prestigious competition to exhibit wines in its stand.

The invitation honours the extraordinary performance of The Iconic Estate wines at the 2021 edition of the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles, where Hyperion Exclusive Fetească Neagră 2016 and Neptunus Shiraz 2016 won the Grand Gold Medal, the highest distinction of the competition. The Iconic Estate will exhibit wines from the Hyperion, Mythological Collection, Rhein Extra, Colina Piatra Albă, Byzantium, Prahova Valley and La Umbra ranges at Wine Paris & Vinexpo Paris 2022.

Some of the wines that The Iconic Estate Winery will present at Wine Paris & Vinexpo Paris 2022 were awarded at the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles 2021: Hyperion Exclusive Fetească Neagră 2016 (Grand Gold Medal and the “Revelation of Romania” trophy), Neptunus Shiraz 2018 (Grand Gold Medal), Hyperion Cabernet Sauvignon 2016 (Gold Medal), Prahova Valley Royal Girl 2020 (Gold Medal), Rhein Extra Rosé Brut (Silver Medal), Byzantium Rosso 2019 (Silver Medal) and Prahova Valley Fetească Neagră 2019 (Silver Medal).

The Wine Paris & Vinexpo Paris 2022 exhibition is also an opportunity for The Iconic Estate Winery to offer visitors a unique sensory experience: a special evening during which guests will enjoy premium wines from the Hyperion Exclusive and Rhein Extra collections, created by oenologist Lorena Deaconu Stoian, paired with refined dishes prepared by Chef Ecaterina Paraschiv. The tasting will take place on February 15 at the Ibrik Kitchen Restaurant in Paris and will be coordinated by the sommelier Julia Scavo DipWSET, Brand Ambassador Rhein Extra and Hyperion.

Wine Paris & Vinexpo Paris 2022 is an international exhibition dedicated to wines and spirits, which emrged in 2020 following the merger between Wine Paris, created in 2019, and Vinexpo Paris, an event of notoriety in the industry, which began in 1981. The exhibition will take place on February 14-16 in Paris and will bring together distributors and decision makers from around the world. The 2020 edition was attended by 2,800 exhibitors from over 20 countries and 60 wine regions.
