Leverage, a Romanian training and negotiating consultancy company, launched the project Leverage Together, in partnership with Asociatia Magic (Magic Association). Therefore, the Leverage consultants will organize and facilitate virtual work groups for the Romanian business environment, the participants paying a fee decided by themselves, while Asociatia Magic will use all the raised funds for purchasing protection equipment for the medical staff.

The coronavirus pandemic is a double crisis: on one hand an unprecedented health crisis in which the medical staff is the most exposed one to the infection as a lack of the absolutely necessary protection equipment and on the other hand, it transforms into an economic crisis that impact various fields of activity and businesses, especially the entrepreneurial ones, found in the situation of discovering fast surviving strategies.
In this context, Leverage and Magic Association launched the project Leverage Together, as an answer to the sanitary challenges, as well as the economic and financial ones.
Leverage Together is a project that proposes itself to transform the expertize and time of Leverage’s negotiating consultants in real resources in fighting the coronavirus.
The Magic Association team collects the donations in the Hospitals’ Emergency Fund and transform them in real resources for the medical staff: medical equipment.
„Like many representatives of the business private environment we asked ourselves what can we do during this difficult period of time- how can we contribute through what we know to making this better even with 1 percent. Therefore we created the project Leverage Together. Each one of the involved persons shares what he /she knows what to do better and what is in his /hers power, in the fight against the coronavirus.
From our double role – we are both counselors that have been working with many entrepreneurial businesses, as well as from our position as entrepreneurs – we are trying to support with the best solutions we have the Romanian business environment that is passing through the need of readjustments and re-negotiations with all the stakeholders.
We also have the experience of the 2008 economic crisis that taught us to have patience, to see what is in our control and to look at the opportunities generated by each difficult situation. This is what we will try to do during the online work groups that we will initiate,” said Radu Glont, Negotiating Counselor Leverage and the project initiator.
The first virtual work group is scheduled for April 9th, in between 16:00 and 17:30. Entries can be done here, pending the available seats.
