Cristina Mancaș, Vice President of Human Resources at Schneider Electric South East Europe, will be a speaker at BR’s upcoming Working Romania HR Conference, where she will explore the 2022 HR trends, and how organizations need to transform in order to perform in the new #futureofwork.

Cristina Mancaș is Vice President of Human Resources at Schneider Electric South East Europe. A graduate of the Academy of Economic Studies, with a degree in Management, Cristina joined the Schneider Electric team in January 2016, as HR Director for Romania. Her great activity and results were noticed and so two years later, she was promoted to a regional position. At Schneider Electric, Cristina brought 16 years of experience in the field of human resources, working in large companies in the banking sector and oil industry. From the Bucharest office, Cristina Mancaș coordinates all the human resources activities of the EEA region for Schneider Electric, from recruitment to talent management, building organizational culture.

Under her guidance, Schneider Electric launched the Open Talent Market in 2020, a platform that all employees can join to connect with mentors from all over the Schneider network in order to develop skills they may not have.

“The Open Talent Market platform was launched globally last year during the pandemic, in April. There were a lot of discussions at HR level at the time about whether we should launch it, that we are in the middle of a pandemic and people will not have time to dedicate for this type of program. However, there were many employees who said they wanted to join the platform as soon as it is launched.

On Open Talent Market all employees can enter and connect with mentors from all the Schneider world, if they want to develop their skills. They can connect or apply to local or global projects, but also apply for full-time roles. At South East Europe level, the area for which I am responsible, Romania is leading, we have an adoption of 78%, in less than a year, according to last reports.

I am also a mentor on this platform, I tried to test it to see how it works and I connected with a colleague from the USA, one from China and one from Mexico. The last two had nothing to do with HR, but they wanted to understand a little bit more about the domain. With Jennifer, from USA, I also became friends on social media. She wanted to understand how we can bring people out of the inactivity zone, how we can attract them to use the platform actively.” Cristina Mancas said about the Open Talent Market platform.

Cristina Mancas will be part of the All-Star | Employer Branding Panel: Adapting to the new way we work, live, and connect. Join her and other top speakers by registering for the online event.
