At the recent Working Romania conference, Catalin Nastasoiu, VP of Marketing Strategy at Genesis Property, shared groundbreaking insights into the transformative workplace environments fostered under the innovative Yunity Park concept. Nastasoiu elaborated on the multifaceted benefits of such sustainable developments, emphasizing the integration of natural elements to enhance employee wellness and productivity. His presentation delved into the strategic evolution of their properties into ecosystems that support not only professional but also personal growth, showcasing Genesis Property’s commitment to creating spaces that prioritize user well-being and environmental sustainability.

“We at Genesis Property, under the new Yunity Park concept initiated by Mr. Liviu Tudor, have turned a gray concrete parking lot into a 1000 m² urban forest with pathways for people to walk, have meetings over a 2 km stretch, with spots for connecting and working. Each bench and lamppost has an outlet for charging your phone or tablet, or for connecting to a meeting or Zoom outdoors. This setup is just a piece of what Yunity Park is about—a natural extension of the office. It’s an investment equivalent to putting money into two buildings. We have an internal team constantly taking care of all installations and facilities this outdoor space offers. Walking through the forest brings a breath of fresh air and tranquility; it’s about the time people spend between tasks. It’s hard to stay at the computer for more than 60 minutes without needing to get up, move, and do it in nature, so we brought nature right to the office doorstep. What really pleases us is how easily and naturally it was populated by people from the park, the Nordic workers from Yunity Park, and the abundance of “thank you for thinking of us” messages we receive every day makes us blush sometimes. A plan made before the pandemic has been successfully implemented, and we’re seeing the fruits of our labor. It’s a new real estate concept, although it represents an office park campus, where the user is our focus.

Although I don’t have a crystal ball to predict the future or claim to have a visionary outlook, I can certainly say that beautiful toys aren’t made in a gloomy factory. The care and partnership we extend to our collaborating companies, including efforts in employer branding, have culminated in securing two significant contracts. This success underscores the impact of our contributions to both individuals’ lives and our partner companies, especially in terms of sustainability. My desire is to keep progressing; installing 1080 PV panels on an area of more than 4,000 sqm, on the office buildings’ roofs in YUNITY Park, exemplifies our commitment. It’s a tangible demonstration that all of us can contribute to environmental enhancement. Indeed, we take great pride in the substantial reduction of our carbon footprint over the past year, a testament to our dedication to a sustainable future.”
