Andrei Frunza, CEO at BestJobs, will be a speaker at BR’s upcoming Working Romania HR Conference, on November 18. He will be part of Panel 1: Keeping an eye on the #futureofwork, starting at 10:00 AM.

Andrei Frunza is the CEO of BestJobs, one of the leading online recruitment companies in Romania, since September 2021. Andrei is an experienced executive with a proven track record for creating value in fast-paced tech & consumer organizations, both in growth and transformation phases, having previously served as the General Manager at FREE NOW Romania. He is a graduate of the Bucharest University of Economic Studies with a Bachelor’s Degree in Banking and Stocks, and a Master’s in Economics.

As BestJobs’s CEO, Andrei Frunza leads the growth strategy in the markets in which it operates, with the goal of accelerating the company’s long-term growth and providing employers and candidates with relevant recruitment solutions.

Andrei Frunza took over BestJobs operations from Calin Fusu, who founded the online recruitment platform in 2001. With more than 20 years of experience managing several technology businesses, almost half of which as CEO, Andrei Frunza focuses on developing BestJobs and its portfolio of solutions, with a major role in consolidating the online recruitment market in Romania.

“The recruitment market is changing, and the dynamics of the last year and a half have transformed the needs of employers and candidates. BestJobs is and will remain a stable partner, ready to provide solutions relevant solutions tailored to market trends in recruitment, retention and personal development. I am happy to return to a dear field, in a role from which I will be able to support the company’s further development, alongside an ambitious and dynamic, results-oriented team,” said Andrei Frunza on his appointment.

In October 2021, there were more than 1,000,000 job applications on the BestJobs recruitment platform, up 10% from the previous month

“We are witnessing an already familiar scenario of predominantly remote working, which is generating other trends. October, which also coincided with the peak of the fourth wave, gave us a clear indication of where the labour market is heading, with new behaviours and fast-growing industries being favoured during this period. We estimate that there will be more changes on the labour market, due to the health context, but we are already observing companies’ ease in adapting to this reality, as a result of the experience from the beginning of the pandemic,” says Andrei Frunză, CEO BestJobs Romania.
