The famous jazz singer Luiza Zan, together with the Big Band Radio, will energize the public in an extraordinary concert on April 19, at the Radio Hall. Under the wand of Ionel Tudor, Luiza Zan and the band will perform new jazz inspired by Billie Holliday, Ella Fitzgerald, Kurt Elling, Dianne Reeves and Nat King Cole, soul & funk inspired by Aretha Franklin, Chakka Khan, Erykah Badu and hip hop & R&B inspired by D‘Angelo, Angie Stone and Bilal. The concert is as part of the “Jazz pe Romaneste” series of events.
Luiza Zan belongs to the generation of creative jazz singers, being recognized for the diversity of interpretations and compositions. She approaches enthusiastically every musical genre – from classical music and traditional rhythms, folk, pop to gospel. Regarding jazz, her exceptional performances was recognized with important international awards. She is a prolific composer with successfully works in theater and film music, and she also shares the experience and passion for music as performing art teachers.
