Triathlon Challenge to start on Saturday

Swimming, cycling and running, the three sports that made the triathlon famous, are expecting their fans and athletes to the fourth edition of the Triathlon Challenge Mamaia between September 17-21.

For this edition, more than 500 participants aged between 6 and 60 years old announced their presence to test their strength, skills and limits. The triathlon has two sections, for individuals (super-sprint, sprint, Olympic) and for teams (sprint or Olympic relay races). The total amount awarded in the trails is of RON 22.000.

Children are also welcomed at this sports event, and the organizers prepared for them the TriKids Challenge which will take place on September 30, in Bucharest, in Herastrau Park.

At the last edition, more than 60 children, aged between 5 and 13 finished the three trials: swimming, cycling and running. This year, a children cross is on schedule, as well as a duathlon – just running and cycling.
