Tori Amos returns to Bucharest

Tori Amos will return to Bucharest after seven years to hold a new concert on June 19 at Arenele Romane. The gig is included in the promotional tour for the singer’s new album, “Unrepentant Geraldines” which is set to launch this spring.

Nominated for 8 grammys, Tori Amos is one of the most talented artists on the international music scene, her style of music defying and redefining standard genres. Piano rock, alternative rock, art pop, art rock, electronique, baroque pop, are just some of the styles attributed to the well known singer.

Popular singles such as Crucify”, “Silent All These Years”, “God”, “Cornflake Girl”, “Caught a Lite Sneeze”, “Professional Widow”, “Spark”, “1000 Oceans”, “Flavor” and “A Sorta Fairytale” brought Amos not only fame but also financial success. Her albums sold 12 million copies.

“Unrepentant Geraldines” is Tori Amos’ 14th studio album and will be launched this spring, signaling a new world tour that will debut on May 7 in Dublin and will make stops in London, Paris, Amsterdam, Moscow, Bucharest.

Ticket sales for the Bucharest gig will begin on friday, through myticket.ro, Diverta stores, Muzica, Mihai Eminescu Bookstore and at the Sala Palatului ticket booth.
