Considered by the Romanian Railway Company’s (CFR) the oldest and most luxurious train, the Royal Train has arrived on Gara de Nord train station’s line 14 on Monday and can be visited free of charge until Sunday, every day from 9.00 to 19.00.

The train has five luxurious saloons and sleeping cars. The Royal Saloon is located in the living room car, featuring a table for 24 guests. The interior has expensive lighting bodies made in Murano Island, Cordoba leather chairs and a mirror of Bohemian crystal.

The Royal Train preserves the original appearance and elegance of those times and although it is a steam train, its running speed varies from 30 to 242 kilometers per hour.
