Romanian tourism in focus at International Investment Forum event

The local tourism industry is frequently highlighted as a potential area of growth and pundits agree there is plenty of room for further development of the sector. The state of the local tourism industry and what lies behind its famous potential will be up for discussion at the International Investment Forum: Focus on Tourism and Hospitality. The event is organized by Business Review at the Howard Johnson Grand Plaza Hotel in Bucharest, on June 20.

Topics that will be discussed include:  Financing tourism. Structural funds available through the Ministry of Tourism. Other financing solutions: EU funds, investment funds, investment companies; Are banks helping tourism? A short guide for tourism entrepreneurs; The human factor. Tourism schools and exporting Romanian talent; Too much room at the inn? Managing hotels during a crisis;  Ministry view of infrastructure for tourism (the development of railways, transportation facilities on the Danube and Black Sea, airports); City breaks and city tours. How can airlines, travel agencies and Romanian authorities work together?; Destination Bucharest. Making the city a hub for events, concerts, conferences and how this can help Romanian tourism.
