Piraeus opens third business center for SMEs in Ploiesti

Piraeus Bank Romania opened the third business center dedicated for SMEs, in Ploiesti, which will cover counties Buzau, Prahova, Dambovita, Arges si Valcea. The bank opened two other similar centers in Bucharest and Constanta and is planning to open four more units of its kind by the end of the yera.

The activity of these two centers generated a 30 percent increase in clients on the SMEs segment in just one year. The Bucharest unit was opened in the summer of 2013 and the Constanta center had its inauguration in spring this year.

550 SMEs benefit from services at these three centers and work with 60 dedicated specialist.

“Our goal with the Pitesti center is to offer flexible credit solutions and an effective client service through our team of 13 specialists”, according to Areti Riga, SMEs development manager for Piraeus.

The Ploiesti centers is targeting its services for companies with turnovers between EUR 500,000 and 5 million who are active in the fields of production, services, oil and gas, pharma, food industry and agriculture.
