MSD Romania names new general manager

Merck & Co, the drugs maker known as MSD outside the US and Canada, has appointed Fabrizio Giombini as head of its Romanian subsidiary, starting February 1^st.

Giombini has worked for over 25 years within the MSD group, starting his career as regional representative of the company in Italy.

He held various positions within Merck in the US and the EMA region. Giombini came to Romania after spending almost four years in Italy, as executive director of the business department primary care.
