Metrorex is looking to acquire security and intervention services through a 30-month contract with an estimated value of RON 65.6 million (EUR 14.8 million).
“Assuring security, monitoring and intervention services is conducted after a program established around the interval when stations and subway trains are open to the public’s access (…) as well as during the night”, according to the auction announcement.
The security services are meant for stations, subways, depots and other objectives in the subway network.
The value of the contract is between RON 39.2 million and RON 52.9 million, split between a minimum of 3 contracts and a maximum of 30. The contract will be financed through state subsidies and Metrorex’s own revenue.
