Mega Image appoints Vassilis Stavrou as new COO

The mandate of Xavier Piesvaux, the general manager of Mega Image, will end in July, when he will leave the Belgian group Delhaize, announced on Friday the retailer. He was appointed general manager in 2008.

At the same time, Mega Image has announced the appointment of Vassilis Stavrou as general director (COO). Stavrou works for Delhaize in 1994 and currently serves as Business Development senior vice president for South Eastern Europe and Indonesia.
