Hidroelectrica general director resigns for medical reasons; Ovidiu Agliceru takes over

Ovidiu Agliceru took over the position of general director for Hidroelectrica on Monday, replacing Mihai Stanculescu, who can no longer perform his duties for medical reasons. Before the appointment, Agliceru was in charge of the Energy Production department in the same company, writes Mediafax.

Ovidiu Agliceru graduated the Electro-technical Faculty at the Polytechnic Institute in Cluj-Napoca and has over 30 years of experience in the field of energy. showData

Between 1999-2000 he was the deputy technical director at Hidroelectrica’s HQ. In 2006 he was named general chief inspector and from 2009 until 2013 he ran the Internal Audit Division.

From August 2013 and until October the same year, Agliceru was a member of Hidroelectrica’s board of directors.

Hidroelectrica reentered insolvency after the Bucharest Appeal Court admitted the appeals of energy traders Alpiw, Energy Holding and EFT but also Andritz Hydro, Alro, Elsid Titu. Since then, there have been several upper management changes: a new general manager of the trading-supply direction in the person of Marius Adrian Chiriac, Yugo Neumorni as IT and Communication director, Gabriela Mihailescu as CFO,  Adrian Gheorghe as Financial Manager.
