Andrei Dumitrescu, 38, is the new country manager of Henkel Romania’s adhesives division. He is replacing Wolfgang Zettl who was appointed country manager of the company’s adhesives division in Serbia. He will also continue as sub-regional manager South CEE adhesives division.
Dumitrescu has been working for the company since 1998. Over the years he held various positions in the sales department of the former Henkel Bautechnik Romania. In 2003 he was appointed sales director. Four years later he became sales & marketing manager of Henkel Romania’s adhesives division after the merger of Henkel Bautechnik Romania and Henkel Romania.
He has a bachelor’s degree in economics and he graduated the Asebuss EMBA program in 2007.
Henkel’s global business has three divisions: laundry & home care, beauty care and adhesive technologies. In Romania, Henkel construction materials are sold under the Ceresit brand. The company has been present locally since 1994 and it presently employs some 500 people.
