Ernst & Young Romania appoints new tax executive director

Gabriel Sincu has joined EY Romania as executive director in the tax department. He has over 16 years of experience in tax advisory, accounting, and payroll outsourcing for various companies.

Sincu is a certified accountant and tax consultant. Over the years he has served a large number of Romanian and multinational clients as part of the executive teams at Haarmann Hemmelrath and Mazars Romania.

He has been involved in numerous tax advisory projects, which include corporate tax, profits tax, VAT, international tax, tax due diligence, and tax audit. Since 2004, Sincu is a member of the consultancy committee of the Romanian Foreign Investment Council, reviewing draft tax legislation before these are passed by Parliament.
