Bucharest-Constanta trains report delays following rail metal thefts

Trains traveling on the Bucharest-Constanta route report average delays of between 10 and 20 minutes after over the past 24 hours there have been several rail metal thefts, according to the Romanian National Railway Company – CFR.

A total of 11 trains have reported a combined delay of 261 minutes this Tuesday, according to the same source. The most affected railway stations are Nicolae Balcescu, Medgidia and the segment located between Dor Marunt and Dragos Voda.

Located at the Black Sea, Constanta is popular destination for Romanian tourists traveling to the seaside during summer time.
