Newsroom 14/06/2013 | 10:55

For three weeks, the charm of classical music and international jazz elite will conquer the George Enescu Square. Specially designed as a meeting place for music and art lovers, the generous space near the Romanian Athenaeum turns into an unusual “musical garden”, thanks to ArCub.

First to chill out the hot days of summer is Bucharest Music Film Festival, a classical music incursion with National Radio Orchestra, the Symphony Orchestra of Bucharest, Craiova Philharmonic Orchestra, Spirit of Vienna, Royal Camerata, Orchestra Silvestri, Ensemble Raro & Friends and Vocal Group Acapella, under the wands of Tiberiu Soare, Benoit Fromanger, Jin Wang, Sebastian Gurtler, Costin Grigore. The festival lasts for ten days, from June 21 – 30.

Then, between July 3-7, ArCuB Live Open Air-Jazz, Blues & More expects the public to see  James Carter and Tomasz Stańko, as well as bands from Romania, Germany, UK, Holland and US.
