An iPhone ‘costs’ 28 working days in Bucharest but nearly 3 days in Zurich, says survey

An iPhone 4S, the 16 GB version, is the equivalent of 2 working days and 6 hours in a city like Zurich while in Bucharest it is worth over 28 working days, according to a survey carried out by UBS bank.

Thus, in Zurich an employee earns on average USD 33.4 per hour.

An employee working in Bucharest earns on average USD 3.4 per hour.

In Paris, where people work the least in the world, an employee must work 5 days and four hours in order to buy such a device. On average, citizens of Paris earn USD 18.5 per hour. People in Paris work 1,558 hours.

In Berlin, an iPhone 4S 16 GB would cost someone seven days.

Greece is also much better positioned than Romania, since a Greek must work only 10 days and 6 hours in order to buy this iPhone model. Similarly, in Prague, someone would have to work 16 days and 14 hours while in Warsaw they wpuld have to work 17 days and 5 hours.

In Budapest, Hungarians also have to work hard for an iPhone 4S 16 GB, with 25 days and 6 hours of work.
