Daikin launches new Emura generation and strengthens its leading position as a premium air conditioner

Daikin, world leader in the air conditioners market, with over 90 years of experience in designing and manufacturing innovative heating and cooling technologies, announces the launch on the Romanian market of the new generation Daikin Emura, the air conditioner with an iconic design.

A complete air conditioning solution, the third generation Daikin Emura has a new design line and is equipped with innovative functions, integrating perfectly into any modern interior and offering, at the same time, optimal comfort and superior performance.

The mission of the new Daikin Emura unit is to create a memorable visual impact. The indoor unit is available in three colors: matt white, silver and matt black. Both the front and rear panel have a curved appearance, giving the device a distinct shape and hiding the unit’s fan at the same time. The new remote controls have taken over the design line, as well as the three colors of the indoor unit, and have also been redesigned for easier use.

The new Daikin Emura also features unique moving panels, first seen with the Daikin Stylish. The front panels move while in operation and further enhance the unit’s shadow play. The curved aesthetic was also translated onto the new remote control, redesigned to be more straightforward and user-friendly and available in the same three colors as the units.

Smart features and functionality

With a focus on outstanding design, the new Daikin Emura offers a variety of innovative features and functions to meet the specific needs of modern consumers.

Air-treatment: Having a good indoor air quality in our homes has become paramount in recent years. For this reason, the designers of the new Daikin Emura also incorporated Daikin’s signature Flash Streamer Technology that catches harmful substances from the air, such as viruses, allergens and odors and then breaks them down to safe atoms and water molecules. As well as, the addition of a titanium deodorizing filter, a silver allergen filter and a standard air filter.

Smart control: New Daikin Emura users can enjoy controlling their unit straight from the palm of their hand or via their smart home assistants (such as Google assistant or Amazon Alexa). Daikin’s Onecta app also allows them to set up programs for their unit, manage the temperature and operation mode plus access reports on energy consumption.

Advanced airflow: Features such as the Coanda effect utilize the specially designed flaps to ensure maximum reach of airflow even in larger rooms. Working alongside the Coanda effect, is the intelligent thermal sensor which scans the room for occupancy and air temperature and signals the unit to either direct the airflow away from occupants or to uneven temperature areas.

Environmentally conscious

Energy efficient: Daikin Emura is engineered to perform every season and provide year-round comfort with seasonal efficiency up to A+++ for heating and cooling, resulting in smaller environmental impact and bigger savings on energy bills.

Leader in R-32 technology: The new Emura series strengthens Daikin’s leadership in the design and development of R-32 refrigerant products, known in the industry for its lower global warming potential (GWP), and synonymous with high efficiency and simplifying reusability whilst maintaining and improving on the standards set by the previous generations of refrigerants. Daikin is currently the market leader with the largest number of R-32 installations in the world – a testament to Daikin’s experience and knowledge, as well as the quality and reliability of its R-32 products.
