While all the cultural institutions, both private and public, are being closed due to the pandemic, and most of them offered some online alternatives, Mobius Gallery started Artworks of the week initiative, with Roman Tolici first artist to be showcasted online.

“We close the gallery door but we are opening our devices and continue to enjoy amazing artworks.
Here are the artworks of the week, touching the unique circumstances we experience, the thoughts and feelings we are learning to accustom”, said Mobius representatives.

The Artworks of the week with Roman Tolici is held between March 31 to April 6.

About Roman Tolici

Roman Tolici is associated with a photographic realism infused by poetry and a surreal sense of everyday existence. His paintings seem to be details of a monumental story related to the general human questions and anxieties. This narrative force turns the recurrent subjects into never-ending chapters and the reflections of everyday life into projections about time, memory and traces captured by the artist’s tender perception.
