Florian Nitu (PNSA): Legally, the compliance level has increased for construction permits

Florian Nitu, managing partner at law firm Popovici Nitu Stoica & Asociatii (PNSA), says that one of the trends he has observed in the real estate market is that the developers are more responsible and they engage in a dialogue for urban regeneration with authorities in the various stages of the projects.

He said that from a legal perspective, the compliance level has increased for construction permits and I don’t think this will change from now on.

“So old buildings will no longer be compliant to these higher standards, meaning they will probably be torn down rather than reconverted,” said the managing partner during the Realty Forum 2018.
