Filip & Company assists Amber Studio in securing a USD 20 million financing

Filip & Company law firm assisted Amber Studio SA, a global independent video game developer, in securing a USD 20 million financing from an investment fund advised by Emona Capital LLP.

The post-investment valuation of the Romanian company is USD 190 million, one of the highest valuations ever obtained by a Romanian company in a Series A financing, and a significant part of the funds will be used to develop Amber through new mergers and acquisitions.

The Filip & Company team assisted Amber Studio on Romanian law matters, with respect to the preparation, negotiation and execution of the shareholder agreement and the sale agreements under which some of Amber’s shareholders sold shares to the investment fund advised by Emona Capital LLP.
