The service is very simple and efficient, and patients can contact the clinic online, for a free consultation, and describe their dental issues. The process is followed by a request to (up to) 3 nearby partner clinics, asking the doctors to contact the patient for a detailed discussion, an estimated price offer, and an invitation to visit each clinic. It is 100% free and non-binding for all patients, who can decline any offer made by the partner clinics. All doctors know this before establishing contact on the phone.

“Our patients need to trust that Dr.MEDON works in their interest to provide them with recommended clinics, doctors who truly care, and the best dental solutions possible. Today, most clinics will charge a patient for the first consultation, but our aim is to change this – just like Sibus changed it in the legal domain,” explains the founder of Sibus and Dr.MEDON, Patrick Nordstjærne.

Some of the most frequent requests include offers for dental implants, crowns, and prosthetics, but braces for young people are in high demand too. Because caring for the patient is an essential element in Dr.MEDON clinics, followed by quality materials and intelligent solutions based on the available budget, many Romanian patients return even from abroad.

“The typical patient who comes to Dr.MEDON is above 50 and is in need of extensive restoration and rehabilitation. Patients in this segment understand the need to compare prices and materials, because they are spending good money on lasting solutions,” Patrick Nordstjærne explains.

Looking into the future, Dr.MEDON plans to extend in two directions on the Romanian market. The clinic aims at building a national network of 24/7 emergency dental clinics, which are on standby to help patients in pain around the clock, and preparing for the idea that Dr.MEDON should include an online solution for pharmacies.
