Infosan, the only private ophthalmopediatrics hospital in Romania, has developed an internal training program aimed especially at resident doctors to compensate for the lack of qualified medical personnel in the field of ophthalmology and ophthalmopediatrics.

“In the context in which the Romanian health system is facing a crisis of human resources in the medical field, which also overlaps with a lack of the possibility of specialization in ophthalmopediatrics for future doctors, Infosan decided to develop an internal program. Thus, we offer opportunities for learning and professional development for future doctors, preparing them to face the complex medical challenges in the ophthalmopediatrics”, stated Rareș Ciubotaru, Executive Director of Infosan.

The residents training program is designed to provide a comprehensive practical and educational experience under the guidance of a highly specialized and dedicated medical staff. Program participants benefit from learning opportunities in various branches of ophthalmology and ophthalmopediatrics. To date, 5 doctors have been trained post-residency through the program run by Infosan.

“The quality of the services we offer to our patients is a priority for us, so we want to make sure that our team is made up of the best specialists. This program is an investment in the future, ensuring that the next generation of doctors will be prepared to provide high standards of care and meet complex medical challenges. The initiation of this program is part of our strategy and represents an essential step in solving the medical personnel crisis in Romania,” added Rareș Ciubotaru.

Infosan’s training program is open to medical residents who wish to develop their skills and competencies in a modern and stimulating medical environment. Selected candidates will have the opportunity to learn from experts in the field and gain valuable practical experience within the Infosan hospital.

Currently, the Infosan hospital has a number of 35 medical staff and a treatment capacity of 3000 patients per month in outpatients and 300 patients per month in day hospitalization.

The company plans to open a new clinic in Bucharest with activity centered on the same niche, by the end of the year. Infosan will open another 5 positions for medical specialists for the second headquarters.
