COPERA Branding is a start-up dedicated and specially designed for the entrepreneurial environment in Romania.

COPERA is a participatory branding program adapted and addressed to Romanian entrepreneurs who want to participate directly and actively in brand building.

The COPERA program is founded by Dana Nae Popa, a 17-year-old entrepreneur with 20 years of experience in communication and Laura Iane, a visual communication specialist with over 18 years of experience.

“I started my entrepreneurial journey in my last year of college and I don’t see myself doing anything else. From the beginning, I was fascinated by the stories of entrepreneurs, their determination and creative energy to build businesses that create jobs, impact society and a better Romania. I am very happy about the interest of Romanians in entrepreneurship and I hope it is the winning book for a better future of this country, which I trust. I didn’t question leaving because I feel I am needed here. Therefore, at COPERA Branding my new role as an entrepreneur is to be close to other entrepreneurs.” – says Dana Nae Popa, co-founder of COPERA Branding.

The COPERA programme is tailored to the reality of entrepreneurs, whether they are just starting out or have already strong businesses but need rebranding or branding for new lines of business. It is simple and straightforward, transparent and 100% collaborative with entrepreneurs.

The 4 modules of the programme are working sessions between the COPERA Branding team and the entrepreneurs and their teams, as appropriate. Thus, by going through the 4 modules of the programme, the joint team of entrepreneurs and COPERA Branding will build together the brand positioning, the name, the visual identity of the brand, as well as a brand manual that will define and include the guidelines that each brand will follow in the future.

“I love Romanian businesses that do us good and I want my experience to contribute to building beautiful and strong Romanian brands. We invite entrepreneurs to be present in every step of the development of the brands they build. We want to help them understand how to conceive a brand strategy, learn design and visual communication concepts in a co-creation process specifically designed for their business. In this way, the brand becomes entirely the entrepreneur’s. In short, it’s participatory branding. Branding without regrets. Branding true to the story from which it was born.” – adds Laura Iane, co-founder of COPERA Branding.

COPERA invites entrepreneurs to be present in every step of business development. The aim of this programme is to help them understand the process, learn communication principles and build their brand with communication specialists. The basic idea is for the entrepreneur to leave the process to themselves, to work in a supportive way. The biggest gain is that the brand will fit with the entrepreneur, precisely because it is also built by the entrepreneur.

Workshops are held by the COPERA Branding team at the headquarters in Bucharest, at the entrepreneurs’ headquarters in Bucharest and in the country or online. Depending on the needs of entrepreneurs, they can also opt for sessions with special guests, specialists from other related areas to help build new brands.
