Tesla Model Y lands in Romania. Romanian language also added in the Tesla user interface

Ahead of first deliveries next quarter, Model Y is coming to Romania for its first ever display in the country. Starting today, customers can see it and learn more about it in the Bucharest-Pop Up in Promenada Mall.

Starting at 62.990€, or 53 857€ with incentive, Model Y is an all-electric, mid-size SUV designed for maximum versatility and safety, offering leading range, superior performance and the most advanced technology. With up to 507 km of WLTP range, plenty of storage space and a medical-grade HEPA air filter, Model Y is the ultimate combination of performance and utility.

Visitors will be able to experience Model Y’s panoramic glass roof and high seating that create a feeling of spaciousness and offers an expansive view from every seat in the vehicle. Customers will also be able to see the large amount of cargo space offered by Model Y. Over 2100 litres of total space, with each rear seat folding flat independently, creating flexible storage for luggage, furniture, sporting gear and more.

New language support: Romanian

Since late July, all current and future Tesla owners will be able to select Romanian as the language of the user interface of their Tesla. They will have the possibility to switch from English or any other language to Romanian thanks to a new over-the-air software update. This new update is rolling out to all customers over Wi-Fi. Its deployment to the entire Tesla fleet can take a few days.

Tesla has pioneered the concept of cars that get more capable over time, thanks to the free, over-the-air software updates that all Tesla customers enjoy. While traditional cars have static features, a Tesla is more akin to a smartphone, adding new functionality and enhancements throughout the life of the car. Since introducing Model S in 2012, we’ve rolled out hundreds of over-the-air updates to customers that have made their cars smarter, faster, safer and more enjoyable to drive. The continued feedback we receive from our community of owners helps influence and shape many of our updates and features.

Since launching in Europe in 2019, Model 3 has had plenty of new features added including top speed increase, charging speed increase and a whole host of games to play. Here are some of the key updates on Model 3 since it launched in Europe.
