Renault Romania and Porsche Romania have notified the National Consumer Protection Authority (ANPC) this week that they would start a recall campaign for certain car models, reaching a total of about 950 cars.

Porsche Romania will recall Volkswagen T-Roc cars due to an issue with the spoiler on the back of the vehicle, which may fall off. This is part of a global recall, and in Romania it includes 355 vehicles.

Additionally, Porsche Romania is also recalling Seat models Ibiza and Arona with identification numbers 1KA and 1KG, which may have problems with the braking system. The global campaign targets 80 cars in Romania and the checkup will be done for free in 30 minutes.

Renault Romania will recall 161 Dacia Lodgy cars as they are missing the regulation label referring to restrictions for the back seats. The procedure will take 40 minutes and will be free of charge.

Renault is also recalling Dacia Logan II, Sandero II, Logan II MCV and the new Duster model, due to a possible 12V battery defect – 323 cars are targeted and the repair can take up to an hour and a half.

Furthermore, 30 Dacia Logan I, II, Sandero II and Dokker cars will be recalled for a checkup of their catalyst, which may need to be replaced. This procedure could take up to six hours.
