Animax invests EUR 210,000 in two stores and reaches a network of almost 130 units in Romania

Animax, the pet retailer with the most extensive network of stores in Romania, opens two stores, in Bucharest and Arad, after a total investment of 210,000 euros, and reaches 129 stores throughout the country. By the end of the year, the retailer is targeting at least 8 more expansions in the country.

The store in Bucharest, opened in Marmura Residence (Bd. București Noi no. 25, Sector 1, Bucharest), is the 27th in the city, has an area of ​​219 sqm and is created according to a new concept, with a modern design and attractive and an ergonomic and harmonious arrangement, which makes it easy to intuitively and quickly find the desired products, thus providing a pleasant shopping experience. The investment in this unit amounted to 140,000 euros. On the occasion of the opening, all products were 20% off for one week.

The store in the city of Arad (in the Atrium Mall, Calea Aurel Vlaicu, no. 10-12) was opened on June 16, being the third in the city, after an investment of 70,000 euros.

Considering the increased demand for animal products, Animax is planning new expansions in the country in 2023 aiming to strengthen its position in the national market.

Also as part of the company’s development, Animax recently invested 50,000 euros in digitization, modernizing the online store and launching the FideliClub application through which discounts are granted for each purchase.
